greenRaffle.com ("the platform") is a platform for hosting Events. Events are run by Event Hosts, and not the platform.
Event content (images, prizes, prize descriptions, etc.) is provided by Event Hosts and it is not reviewed or endorsed by the platform. The platform is not responsible for the content added by Event Hosts.
Raffle winners are chosen by an algorithm that randomly selects a raffle entry from the pool of entries a raffle received.
Purchasing raffle tickets does not guarantee winning a prize.
Raffle ticket purchases and donations are non-refundable.
Raffle tickets can only be used for the Event they are purchased for.
Participants have until the published "Raffle Close Time" to use tickets they've purchased to enter raffles. Once the Raffle Close Time is reached, remaining tickets expire.
Event Hosts may delay the Raffle Close Time to allow participants more time to use their tickets, but the Raffle Close Time will never be earlier than the published time.
Proceeds from ticket purchases and donations go directly to Event Hosts. The platform does not receive or handle any money collected from event participants. Any issues arising from a payment (other than technical issues) are between the participant and the Event Hosts, and the platform is not responsible.
Prizes are provided by Event Hosts, and not the platform. Any issues or questions related to prize delivery, accuracy, quality, etc. are the responsibility of Event Hosts, and not the platform.
Event Hosts are responsible for initiating the random selection of raffle winners and facilitating the delivery or pickup of prizes.
The platform does not verify Event Hosts. Event participants are responsible for confirming the identity of Event Hosts and the legitimacy of the Event before purchasing raffle tickets or making donations.
If confirmation is necessary (e.g. if you learn about the event from an email or flier and don't know with certainty where it came from), you should contact the Event Hosts via a trusted contact method (e.g. a known telephone number or email address) to confirm the legitimacy of the event and the accuracy of the Event link / Event code. For example, if an event purports to be a fundraiser for your child's school's PTA, if you did not learn about it directly from the PTA, reach out to the PTA to confirm the legitimacy of the event.
The platform is not responsible if Event Hosts do not initiate the random selection of raffle winners, fail to deliver prizes, or otherwise fail to complete their event or satisfy their obligations to Event participants. It is incumbent on Event participants to ensure they are participating in an event they trust.
The platform reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to change the terms under which services are offered. The most current version of the terms will supersede all previous versions.
